TAABU
CLUB
Cairo, Egypt • Humanitarian Organization
Taabu Club was doing essential work for displaced Palestinian mothers and children—but without a digital foundation that could support growth, trust, or fundraising.
A sanctuary for displaced Palestinian mothers and children—providing a safe space for healing and community connection.

AT A GLANCE
WHO THEY SERVE
Displaced Palestinian mothers and children in Cairo, Egypt. They provide a safe space for healing, community connection, and support during displacement. A place where families can find stability, resources, and belonging.
ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT
Humanitarian organization operating in Cairo, Egypt. Founded to address the urgent needs of displaced families, providing both immediate support and long-term community building in a context of displacement and uncertainty.
MY ROLE
Digital infrastructure partner and strategic communicator. Built their website, donation system, and global outreach infrastructure. Created a platform that connects their work in Cairo with supporters around the world.
OUTCOME
A clear, respectful digital presence that communicates their mission with dignity. Global fundraising infrastructure that enables supporters worldwide to contribute. Organizational clarity that builds trust across borders.
THE MISSION
Displacement is more than a change of address. It's the loss of home, community, and stability. For mothers and children who have been forced to leave everything behind, the need for sanctuary is urgent.
Taabu Club provides that sanctuary. A safe space in Cairo where displaced Palestinian families can find community, support, and resources. Where mothers can connect with other mothers. Where children can play and learn in safety. Where families can begin to rebuild.
This isn't abstract humanitarian work. It's direct support for people navigating one of the most difficult experiences a family can face. Every connection, every resource, every moment of safety matters.
THEIR MISSION IS CLEAR: PROVIDE SANCTUARY. BUILD COMMUNITY. SUPPORT HEALING.
THE CHALLENGE
Taabu Club was doing critical work on the ground in Cairo, but they lacked the digital infrastructure to connect with supporters globally. Their mission was urgent, but their ability to communicate it and raise funds was limited.
THE PROBLEMS WERE ORGANIZATIONAL, NOT JUST TECHNICAL:
- →No global fundraising infrastructure: Supporters around the world wanted to help but didn't know how. Every potential donor who couldn't figure out how to give was a lost opportunity to support families in Cairo.
- →Communication barriers: Their work in Cairo needed to be communicated to an international audience, but they lacked the digital platform to tell their story effectively. Supporters couldn't understand the impact, so they couldn't trust the mission.
- →Trust and legitimacy concerns: Credibility mattered deeply for an organization working across borders. Without a professional digital presence, potential supporters questioned whether the organization was legitimate and how their donations would be used. Every friction point risked losing trust.
- →Operational isolation: They were doing important work, but they couldn't easily connect with volunteers, partners, or supporters who wanted to get involved from afar. The founder was handling everything manually—every donation, every inquiry, every connection required personal attention, leaving less time for the families who needed support.
These weren't design problems. They were infrastructure problems. And for a humanitarian organization operating in a context of displacement and urgency, infrastructure problems directly impact their ability to serve families who need support. Every barrier to trust, every lost donation, every moment spent on tech instead of people—it all adds up.

They can understand, trust, and act—without friction. The organization can grow without constantly re-explaining itself.

DONATION FLOW
What we built: International donation processing with multi-currency support, secure payment processing, and clear impact messaging at every step. → What it enabled: Supporters can give from any country, in any currency, with confidence. They know exactly how their contribution reaches families in Cairo. The founder is freed from handling every transaction manually—she can focus on people, not tools.

MOBILE EXPERIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR THEIR MISSION
We didn't just design a website or add a donation form. We gave a vulnerable organization legitimacy. We reduced cognitive load for a tiny team. We built infrastructure that lets them focus on people, not tech.
Taabu Club now has the digital infrastructure to communicate their mission with dignity, accept donations from supporters around the world, and build trust across borders. When someone discovers Taabu Club online—whether they're in Cairo, New York, or London—they immediately understand that this is a legitimate, established organization doing critical work for displaced families.
The founder no longer has to handle every donation, every inquiry, every connection manually. Digital infrastructure handles operations, allowing focus on the mission that matters. They're positioned to scale their fundraising efforts and connect with a global community of supporters who want to help—without constantly re-explaining themselves.
INFRASTRUCTURE ENABLES GLOBAL IMPACT. THIS IS WHAT THAT LOOKS LIKE.
WHY THIS WORK MATTERS
Humanitarian organizations don't need flashy websites.
They need infrastructure that works across borders, cultures, and contexts.
→When a humanitarian organization can't clearly communicate their mission, they lose potential supporters.
→When they can't accept donations from around the world, they lose funding.
→When they can't establish legitimacy online, they lose trust.
INFRASTRUCTURE ISN'T GLAMOROUS. BUT IT'S ESSENTIAL.
Taabu Club now has the digital foundation to reach supporters globally, communicate their impact with dignity, and build the trust they need to expand their work. That's what infrastructure enables: the capacity to connect communities across borders and do more good.
